As the only high-level specialty hospital for women and children in Hangzhou, edg was contracted to complete the construction of its uniquely curved marble lobby feature wall, using wood finishes and colored PVC flooring to liven the approximately 6,000sqm interior. Completed areas included: the lobby, administration area, patient rooms, ICU, X-Ray room, Bultrasonic rooms; outpatient, pharmacy, training and operation areas. Curved marble flooring and background walls in 1F were the major construction challenges. Other challenges included: the renovation of the electricity & water systems, as well as the coordination of subcontractors. edg successfully completed this project to a high degree of quality.
